In order to upgrade to the latest version of SimplePCI, contact your local dealer to verify your eligibility. You may also contact us directly using any of the available options located to the right.
*Your dongle device must be the Sentinel SuperPro type. If you are unsure of your dongle type, click here. If your dongle is not upgradeable, please contact your local dealer or email us at for a replacement.
Extract the contents of the zip file to your hard drive. Run the extracted file, SimplePCI xxx install.exe.
For installation instructions, refer to the Installation Guide (Right-click and choose "Save Target As" to save it to your computer).
If your dongle is not 6.x activated, you will receive a dialog box indicating that your Hardware Key is not activated for version 6. (If you do NOT receive this message, your dongle is already activated. Skip to Step #5)

Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" if prompted and click Next.
Your dongle contains information used by the Field Exchange Utility program to generate a Locking Code unique to your dongle.
The Locking Code may be on file at Compix, in which case the License Code would be provided to you in an e-mail and you can skip to Step #4.
Click the "Get Locking Code" button. Copy the Locking Code to the clipboard using the Clipboard icon (top l eft) or save it to a file using the Save icon (top right).

On receiving the Locking Code at Compix we will generate a matching License Code for you to complete the upgrade process on your dongle.
We shall then reply to your message with the License Code needed for the next step.
Run SimplePCI 6.x on the target system.
Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" if prompted and click Next.
Type, Paste or load the License Code into the bottom input field.
To load from a file, use the Open icon (center right).

You should see a confirmation.

If you get an error, contact us with details of the error.
Close the FieldExUtil program.
Run SimplePCI 6.x and check the options in the Security Tab of the Help | About Dialog.

Verify that you are using the correct version of the software, 6.x.x.xxxxxx (Make sure you click the new icon created on your desktop, or verify that you are pointing to SimplePCI6.exe).
Please confirm that the upgrade was successful, or provide details of any difficulty.
Go to Help and select the "Launch Field Upgrade" option.

Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" if prompted and click Next.
